Creamy chocolates, nut clusters, mint melt-aways, caramels, butter creams, maple creams, Sandy Sues, coconut squares, cherry cordials, hard candies in flavors like cinnamon, sweet clove, rum and butter, wintergreen, and many sugar free candies-- these mouth watering old fashion confections and dozens more like them originate in a small but professionally operated candy company in the heart of Northeast Indiana Amish Country in LaGrange, Indiana. |
Despite wars, the Depression,
and the loss of main highways which brought travelers literally
to their doorstep, the family-owned business has continuously
manufactured their high-quality old fashion confections since
1917 when Grandma Rilla Plyley first put out a plate of fudge on
the shelf in the family store, "just for fun." |
